21 Jun Uratex Hailed Newest Member of Hotels and Restaurants Association in Pampanga
Uratex joined the Hotels and Restaurants Association in Pampanga (HARP) in celebrating its 28th year anniversary at the Century Resort Hotel in Angeles City last June 21, 2019.
Ms. Jovelyn Jangalay-Saavedra posed with some members of HARP as a major sponsor, as she handed over one of the major prizes, a new Suvretta Memory Mattress with Bedframe to the member winner.
HARP is an organization engaged in the hotel and restaurant industries in the province of Pampanga. It plays a key role in the promotion and development of the tourism sector for the economic and social progress of our country with its growing alliances of its industry sectors.
The one-day Tourism Night and Induction of Members was attended by different hospitality industry experts in the country. Included in the new members to be inducted that night was Uratex Philippines, amongst various organizations that participated.
According to its president, Ms. Mitch Park, HARP started its humble beginnings after the Mount Pinatubo eruption incident. The organization then had 15 members. At present, there are 80 members who as part of their alignment, host meetings every Wednesday and invite sectors from business, tourism, security, and politics among many others.
