Uratex team has participated in and was one of the sponsors of the Hotel & Restaurant Association of the Philippines’ (HRAP) webinar about Hospitality Resilience Amidst the Pandemic. Held last November 26, 2020 through Zoom and a livestream on HRAP’s FB page, the webinar aimed to help and support industry partners in these challenging times by gathering stakeholders in the Hotels and Restaurant Industry that have been greatly affected since March 2020 by the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Moderated by Ms. Ma. Christina G. Aquino, the Chairwoman of the Tourism Industry Board Foundation, Inc. (TIBF) the webinar featured speakers Ms. Fenady Uriarte, Business Development Manager of Southeast Asia STR; Ms. Eva Claravall, Client Business Partnership Director of KANTAR Philippines; and Mr. Carl Bryan Enerio, Regional Sales Head for Paymaya Business. It was attended by representatives from different sectors such as Hotel Resort & Restaurant Association of Cebu (HRRACI), Council of Hotel & Restaurant Educators of the Phils (COHREP), and various owners of hotels, restaurants and academe here in the Philippines.

The webinar’s main theme was HOPE, which stands for

Also included in the webinar are talks about the best practices of industry colleagues and practical advice and tips on establishing a new better normal, growth and opportunities for the Hospitality Sector next year, and how institutions cope on innovative learning modalities with regard to the academic sector.
