As part of the continuous support for the furniture industry, Uratex for Business held the very first three-part webinar series entitled “Building Brands for the Furniture Market”, with the special guest speaker, Mr. Jasper Evangelista, a brand strategist and the founder of The Brand Jedi. This webinar was held last February 27, March 6 and 13, 2021. The 3-part series was conducted for 3 consecutive Saturdays, with different topic per session including Part 1: Brand Module, Part 2: Digital Marketing Module, and Part 3: eCommerce Module.

Module 1 talked about the importance of branding and marketing in general, and how to make your target market fall inlove with your brand all over again. Mr. Jasper pointed out the importance of the top key marketing strategies to be able to stand-out and reach your target market. One important key in strengthening your branding, is to make sure that you focus on the purpose of your product. The 4Ps of Marketing was also discussed: Product, Price, Placement, and Promotion.

Digital Marketing was the focus of the 2nd module of the webinar. As an introductory course to digital marketing, Mr. Jasper talked about the different digital marketing platforms and what are the most effective social media platforms for businesses in the Philippines, including the most used social media such as Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter and more. He also highlighted the importance of the basic digital presence, which is having a website, and the benefits of boosting it in terms of contents.

The last part of the webinar focused on the emerging eCommerce platforms and what are the current options the furniture industry can consider. Especially now during pandemic, it is important that businesses must consider putting up an online store or use a third party eCommerce platform. The market, pushed by the need to go online, is now transitioning from physical to virtual store. Mr. Jasper also shared the best practices in selling digitally and how to fully optimize online stores.

This 3-part webinar presented by Uratex for Business aims to help the furniture partners in strengthening the industry through proper branding, and maximizing the opportunity of promoting their brands online through website, social media, ecommerce, and more.
