Uratex for Business took part in the first ever ASEAN International Furniture & Furnishings Show 2021 VX (AIFFS 2021 VX), held last March 9 to 18, 2021. Organized by the ASEAN Furniture Industries Council (AFIC), the 1st ASEAN International Furniture and Furnishings Show VX was set to bring together the best players in the furniture industry into a single virtual platform. The countries who supported and participated in this exciting event included Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, and Vietnam.

For the very first time, the entire ASEAN furniture industry has gathered together for one unified virtual show. The trade associations who participated were The Chamber of Furniture Industries of the Philippines (CFIP), Thai Furniture Industry Club (TFIC), Singapore Furniture Industries Council (SFIC), Myanmar Forest Products & Timber Merchants Association (MFPTMA), Malaysian Furniture Council (MFC), Lao Furniture Association (LFA), Indonesia Furniture Industry & Handicraft Association (ASMINDO), and the Handicraft and Wood Industry Association of HoChi Minh City (HAWA).
Uratex for Business representatives presented their furniture solutions virtually via the AIFFS VX platform. During the entire 9-day show, visitors were able to connect with the exhibitors through chat, live video call, email, and calendar appointment. In replacement of the common face to face interaction during the tradeshow, exhibitors like the Uratex for Business team, were able to communicate digitally with their prospects, share business challenges, as well as moving forward solutions on how to overcome the current pandemic situation.
Truly, the COVID-19 pandemic did not stop the enthusiastic trade association participants from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, with the main objective of coming together and support each others businesses through an alternative online platform, where every members can showcase their products and services to potential buyers and clients from all over the world. The continuous participation of Uratex for Business on trade shows such as AIFFS VX highlights the company’s unceasing support to the furniture industry in the Philippines.
